Description
The $\nu$GeN experiment continues exposition at the Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant aiming for the best reactor-based constraints on the antineutrino magnetic moment and an observation of coherent elastic scattering of antineutrino on germanium nuclei. The background count rate of the HPGe spectrometer in a wide energy range varies with time. This talk presents efforts in understanding and quantification of these variations.
